Der Anfang

Von Zeit zu Zeit werde ich gefragt, was es mit dieser Serie auf sich hat oder wie denn die Originale aussehen. In den folgenden 9 Posts sollen möglichst alle Fragen geklärt werden.

(Vollmond über dem Ägäischen Meer, nicht über dem Bodensee)

Es begann alles mit einem Foto vom Vollmond über dem schönen Bodensee und dem Kauf eines eigenen Vergrößerungsgerätes. Mit diesem Vergrößerer habe ich in der Dunkelkammer die ersten Versuche mit Vergrößerungen bei gleichzeitiger Verzerrung unternommen (eben mit dem Foto vom Vollmond am Bodensee und in schwarzweiss).
 



Was damals, zu analoger Zeit, noch sehr aufwendig war ist heute deutlich einfacher und so habe die Arbeit an dem Projekt 2015, wieder anlässlich eines Vollmondes, neu aufgenommen.

In unserer hektischen Zeit wollte ich mit dieser Serie eine Oase der Ruhe schaffen. Weg von den 'gewohnten' Bildern mit denen wir täglich überflutet werden, aber dennoch Motive aus dem Alltag. Motive, die uns ständig umgeben, wenn wir uns die Zeit nehmen hinzusehen...

How it all began

From time to time, I am asked what this series is all about or what the originals of the series look like. I hope to answer all questions with the following 9 posts.

(Full moon over the Aegean Sea)

It all started with a photo of the full moon over the beautiful Lake Constance and the purchase of my own emlarger. I began to work with it and made my first attempts in the darkroom with enlargements and distortions (just with the photo of the full moon on Lake Constance in black and white).
 

What was at that (analogous) time still very time consuming and complicated is much easier today. I have restarted to work on the project in 2015, again on the occasion of a full moon.

In our hectic times I wanted to create an oasis of peace with this series. Away from the 'usual' pictures we are flooded with daily, but still motifs from everyday life. Motives that surround us constantly when we take the time to look...
